C. A good dictionary: A real one, not on line. Our litmus test for
dictionaries is: if it has the mechanical definition for the word moment,
it's OK, if not, keep looking. We're partial to unabridged.
D. A copy of Black's Law Dictionary (pocket edition is OK, about $20).
So far we've uncovered three mistakes in this book regarding patent terms; enablement requirement [wrong], reduction to practice [incomplete], and prior art [incomplete].
