Why inventors make such great victims.

HD Thoreau said "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation".  Add to those with the built-in desperation, a multi-million dollar idea, and you have fertile bottom land for the sharpies.  TV adds and boiler rooms, what else do they need?  Something to put into the mail and the smooooooth never-ending rap.

The FTC is busting some of these crooks and imposing large fines......cost of doing business.

In our opinion anyone who completes lesson 1 would be immune to scams.

Comparing the world of inventors to the world of gold miners, the invention scammers are the sellers of the "lost Dutchman mine" maps.  Both are sold in installments.  Once the hooks are in the rest is easy.  Big riches for just a little up-front money, then a little more....and then a little..
