What makes these lessons possible?  Two words.

    The internet

The internet makes researching patents and patent law a snap.  From the patents, the statutes, the rules, court cases, everything is at your fingertips.  Not only that, we have coined a phrase and belief that we call the "rule of 10".  If ten people in the world are interested in something, at least one of them will put it on the web.  From baked beans and barns to battleships and brain scans.  Researching your invention necessary to learn the names for the pieces and parts of something can usually be done with a quick google search.  We are so brand loyal to google.com we can't seem to use anyone else.  Quite amazing.  In lesson 1 we'll put you through a quick "google lesson".
